French event tonight at 6:30. Katrina organized an event for all of her students/spouses. It's the French Film Festival and we are going to James Street to watch Les Adieux a la Reine (Farewell, My Queen). I caught a ride with Katrina and Debra who were going really early to get things all set up, however they introduced me to their friend, Tracey who was there having a glass of wine beforehand. So I sat and chatted with her. The cinema is very nice and serves "beverages" in glass...nice food also, although I didn't have time to get anything before the movie started. I sat by a really nice girl, Diana that is also a beginner. We were both happy to have the subtitles!
After the movie we all crossed the street to Vroom Bistro for a Kir Royale and some appetizers. Karen and her husband, Jeff saved me a seat and along with Tracey and Murray we all had a great time! There were 26 of us there that night.
